Hire my kiln
If you are working with clay but don't have the space (or the budget) for your own kiln then you can hire my kiln for a full load or individual piece firing. The kiln is a Rhode TE190MCC+ with internal dimensions of 59cm wide x 68cm high. Max temperature: 1300degrees

Full kiln
Bisque: £65.00
Earthenware: £75.00
Stoneware: £100.00
An additional technicians loading fee of £10 may apply if you require full kiln hire.
Individual pieces (including technicians fee)
Individual pieces can be added to another kiln firing if you are not in a rush to have your work back.
Small piece (up to mug size): £2.00
Medium piece (serving bowl size): £4.00
Large piece (sculptural piece or large vase): starting at £8.00
Please note: All customers will be required to sign a firing agreement before leaving your work. Whilst every care is taken in firing your work, please remember that handmade ceramics can be subject to cracking during firing. Bourn Pottery cannot accept any responsibility for any damage to your work resulting from firing.
If your work causes damage to the kiln (shelf, elements, ceramic bricks, thermocouple etc.) you will be liable for repair costs.
