Bourn Pottery can provide a fun, creative activity for your event or party. Sara will come to your venue with a groundsheet, lots of clay and a variety of found objects such as twigs, pebbles, leaves and shells. Then the fun starts!

 

Taking a particular theme, such as 'your village' or 'the seaside' we will make items from clay to populate our landscape including roads, hills, trees, houses, rivers, fish, boats, beaches, people, animals or perhaps a giant cheese eating unicorn wearing a knitted bobble horn hat? Found objects and junk modelling can enhance details (straws for oars?) the only limit is your imagination! At the end of the session (after photographs, obviously!) landscape makers have the option to take home the portable elements that they have made. Remember though, that the clay has not been fired so, although it will dry quite hard, it will be fragile.

Sessions last 90 minutes and are ideal for all ages. This activity is particularly great for holiday clubs, preschools and nurseries who might like to invite occasional guests to work with the children.

The cost is a flat fee of £100.00.
